Today I'm going to be playing at Powell Hall. Twice. Yes, one concert at 2:00 and one at 8:00. They have a trumpet prodigy! He's NINE years old! He's amazing! He seems so sophisticated.

Okay. So there is a restaraunt in Edwardsville called 54th Street Bar and Grill. It has DELICIOUS food! My favorite thing there is called chicken tortilla soup. And guess what? My mom is making it tonight! Yummm!

Yay! It's that time of year again. Thanksgiving break time! So I got to sleep in this morning, and now I'm listening to music. Yeah, but I'm tired, because my sleep in time is 7:00. Yes, I know, it's sad. And you know what else is sad? I'm listening to the soundtrack of High School Musical 3. And you know what ELSE is sad? I'm actually enjoying it. :)

AYS Concert

Yesterday I went to my AYS concert. It was awesome! We rocked. It was really short, though. Only 30 minutes. Oh well. After that, we went to Dairy Queen. I got a brownie batter blizzard. It was DElicious! You should get one! Well, people are trying to talk to me. 'Bye!

Rhubarb Bread

My sister had a gymnastics meet today, and my parents took her. My granparents stayed, and I made rhubarb bread with my grandma! I haven't had that in forever... I hope it tastes good!

Today's Schedule

Okay. So today I have AYS rehearsal from 9:00 'til 10:30. My sis has this cheerleading thing from 9:30 'til I think 11:00. Then I have Chelsea's birthday party from 1-3 at an ice skating rink (btw happy birthday Chelsea!). Then my sis has her cheerleading performance at 6. That's my day! Tomorrow is the AYS concert. I would appreciate it if you guys would come! It's at 7:00 at Hatheway Hall. Hope to see you there!

CD's

Okay so today I was bored, so I got all my CDs and loaded them onto my iPod. Now I have 172 songs! I know right? So anyway, my dad said that my Beatles CD wasn't going to work because they put a special kind of copyright on it so it's impossible to put it on MP3's and stuff like that. Well, anyways, it WORKED! OMG! I forgot! GUESS WHAT? I got UNLIMETED texting! YEAH! I KNOW! And we went to the Verizon store so I could get a new phone, and we ordered it, and it's supposed to come in on Friday or sometime close to that. It's the LG enV 3! Okay well bye 'till then!

NO SCHOOL!

Today is Veteran's Day. So there is no SCHOOL! But I still got up early! YAY! I'm going to play Wii today, and read Moby Dick, which is not as boring as I thought it would be. Right now I'm getting updates for my apps! I like exclamation marks! Now everyone, Go bananas! Go, go, bananas!

Boots

So last Friday, we went to Payless to get some shoes, because it was BOGO. And I got these AWESOME boots! They're total knock-offs of Uggs! And I convinced my mom to get them. AND I told her I'd take GOOD care of them! And then, in math class today, Drew DREW WITH PEN on them! I just hope it comes out...

Ace of Cakes

There's is this show on Food Network called Ace of Cakes. It is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE SHOW!!! They make AMAZING cakes! Like right now I'm watching it, and they're making the Hogwarts train! They're also make the bog of cranberries for Ocean Spray's 80th anniversary! I LOVE IT!!!

IMEA

So yesterday, I went to this thing called IMEA (Illinois Music Education Association). It was a LONG day. At 6:45 A.M. we had to go to AMS to get on the bus. Then, when we got there, we practiced until 11:10 A.M. We got to eat lunch until 12:00. I had a salad, a HUMONGOUS cookies, Lay's original potatoe chips, and a water. After that we had to practice again until 2:30, which is when we had to change into our concert attire. Our concert was at 3:30, and we were awesome! After that I went home. Actually, I didn't go home. My parents took me to 54th Street Bar and Grill! It was DELICIOUS! I had chicken tortilla soup and a baked potatoe. Well, my sisters got kid's meals, and that comes with ice cream. I got mad, so my parents got a big piece of chocolate fudge cake. It was so good! *sigh* Why can't all my days be like that?

Yummy Candy!

Last night I went Trick-or-Treating, and I got a LOT of candy! It was awesome! But my Phantom of the Opera mask kept cutting into my face! And it HURT! But people knew who I was, so I was happy.

Suck-ish Soccer Game

So today I had a HORRIBLE soccer game. I was goalie, of course. I sucked. Again. As always. It was, like 7, or something like that, to 0. That's right. 0. We scored zippety-doo-da-day points. None. Nilch. So yeah, did I tell you that I let in 7 goals? Yeah. Soccer... sucks...

Heintz Orthodontist

I just got back from the orthodontist. They said I'm going to get treatment pretty soon (that's a big word for braces or appliances). And then, after that, I made some coffee there! It was SO good! But now my tongue is burnt! :( So I'm sucking on ice. I hope it gets better soon.

Halloween

Halloween is in nine days! Yay! And I'm going to be the Phantom of the Opera! I went to Baxter's today with my mom and grandma, and I found an actual mask! And some gloves, and black hairspray. And my dad has a cape I'm going to use! It's going to be the BEST. Oh, and did I tell you my grandparents from Minnesota are here? They're staying until Monday (longer, I hope). I missed them so much.

Grounded (as in I used to be)

Grounded. Alas, how everyone middle schooler hates you. And that includes me. Yes, yes, I was grounded from the computer until I cleaned my room, and that, well that, is just NOT something you ask me to do. So it took me a while. Well, maybe a little more than a while, but still. I finally cleaned it. And now I'm on the computer. But still, how I hate cleaning...

Phantom of the Opera

My grandma came to my house, and today we all get to go see Phantom of the Opera at the Fox! I'm sooooo excited! I've been waiting for this very day for...well...for a very long time. It's going to be AWESOME!

iPod

Okay! So guess what? Huh? What was that? SPEAK A LITTLE LOUDER! Oh, yeah! I got an iPod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it so much! It's a touch. I'm listening to it right now. It's so cool! I got a pink cover for it! YAY FOR APPLE!

Acid PRO

So we do this thing in Music Tech., and it's called Acid PRO (yes, the pro is capitalized). You make music on it. Well, we have an assignment, and it's kinda hard. We have to make a Hispanic song, because this month is Hispanic Heritage month. I couldn't find anything that sounded Spanish, but now I went on something else, and there's a whole bunch! I feel so very proud of myself!

Sadness

Why did God create sadness? It just makes people feel hurt.

Handbells

Last night I went with my mom to church, because I get to start playing handbells! I get the highest notes, because they're the lightest. I can't wait for when we perform!

Poor, Poor Jamie

I feel sorry for Jamie. He broke his left wrist, and he has to have an arm cast! It goes all the way up, a little bit past his elbow. It's purple though! and I got to sign it. But I still feel bad, because he can't play cello...I wouldn't be able to stand it...Poor, poor Jamie...

Regionals

Okay! So guess what? The AMS softball team won the first game in regionals, and now we get to go on! We're playing tomorrow...again Chatom (I think that's how you spell it). I is sad. They're the #1 team right now! We're #4 or 5. I hope we win! GOOOOOO TEAM!

Trampoline

I got a trampoline yesterday! It's SO cool! It's by our pool. We got it for free from a friend, because her kid is grown up now. And my dad has to look for a net to put around it, because he says it's not safe. So if we get a net, we can play kickball and stuff in it! Yays! I'm so happy!

Game

If you've never played Racko, you NEED to! It's so much fun with friends and family! I'm playing it right now, actually, and I'm waiting for my mom to finish up the scoring...So play it sometime! Ask for it for your birthday!

Edit

As you can see, I edited my Blog because I was bored. I'm going to explain some of them. For sudoku, you just have to click on it and it gives you the puzzle. I Lost My PHONE!

I lost my phone at Collinsville yesterday at a softball game. :( But it's all good! I get my mom's phone, which is SO much better than mine. But still, I can't believe I lost it...

SCHOOL!!! :(

We have to go to school in TWO days! But it's not as sad as it would be, if my birthday wasn't in FIVE days! I can't wait! And I guess I kind of do want to go to school to see my friends again. But still! SCHOOL!

Summer Music Fest

Today I had softball. Again. But I got to leave an hour early today to go to this music thing called the Summer Music Fest for AYS (Alton Youth Symphony). It was awesome, because I learned that this year I get to play Highlights from HARRY POTTER! And the Weasley Stomp from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. And Kick the Can. And some other songs I know. YAYS! I hope Madee makes it!

Raging Rivers...and a Bee

Well I went to Raging Rivers, and I got stung by a bee. It was bad. It swelled up REALLY big, and then it got a rash around it. I had to go to the First Aid. And if it would've got bigger, then I would have had to gone to the ER! But anyways, it didn't get bigger, and I'm still not allergic to anything. Including bees. So every thing's all good now.

Losers

Well, yesterday we lost our first sofball game. The seventh grade team AND the eigth grade team. But I don't really care, because I knew we were going to lose. We played Edwardsville Lincoln. They're REALLY good. They NEVER dropped a ball... But at least we scored some runs against them!

Closer

The game is getting closer and closer, because it's tomorrow! And I'm so nervous, because we're playing EDWARDSVILLE LINCOLN! And for those of you who don't know, they're the best team. And we have to play them at they're first game! Ugh. I'll just have to do the best I can.

Good and Bad

I have good and bad news. Which one do you want to hear first? Bad news: My arm REALLY hurts. I have to put this spray on it so it feels better. Which it's not going to. Good news: I get to play with the AMS EIGHTH GRADE sofball team! And I'm only in seventh! YAY!

Six Flags

I went to Six Flags yesterday and saw the Glow in the Park parade! It was AMAZING! And, ya know, I've NEVER been to Hurricane Harbor. I do not know why. I think because of my parents.

I have been sooo tired lately since softball started. But at least I got to play short-stop today! The coaches usually put me in out field. :( But on my other team I get to play in-field! Oh well. I'll just have to deal with it.

AMS Softball

I just got back from AMS softball, and the practices go on FOREVER...... We practice every day, even on SATURDAYS!!!! UGHHH! The only good thing is that we get to play in Cahokia, and their dirt is AWESOME! It's so soft!

Eileen is Over

Eileen is at my house RIGHT NOW! But this time, she got to swim when the water wasn't FREEZING cold. It was actually pretty warm. But right now she's drawing a pig. Well, TRYING to draw a pig......... And she sitting next to me and STILL hasn't seen what I've written! Ha! Well, I want to post this before she sees it. Bye! DURNIT! Too late! She saw it......

Library Party

Tonight is the End of Summer Reading library party from five-thirty to eight. It's for the people who did "Read on the Wild Side". It's at Lewis and Clark community college, and as some of you may know, I have to help with it because I work at the library over the summer. You get a free book, and they have cookies, and a blow-up slide and a bounce house! All for free. I don't know WHAT I have to do. Oh well. I'll find out.

All-Star Game

I can't believe it, but I got to go to the All-Star Game last night! And it was just me and my dad, so I got SPOILED. So, yeah.......BE JEALOUS!

I am soooo sorry I have not been blogging. I've just been sooooo busy! Well, anyways, I have to go to a picnic today. It's for my sister's camp. It's called TNI (The Nature Institute). I used to go there, but now I'm too old...........When you go there, you go from Monday through Friday from eight o'clock to three o'clock. But on Friday, you only go from, like, 8 to 1, because you put on a show for you're parents, and then you get to eat! Usually it's fried chicken or tacos! Yummm! When I went there one year, we learned about dry ice! It's this REALLY cold ice. You can't even touch it with you're hands. When you put a spoon on it, it rattles! Well, I gotta go now. Okay, I finally watched The Dark Knight last night. It was........ummm.........not as good as I expected. Well, I was talking to my friend Joe and he said it was the best movie EVER! I said, "No it's not." So he said, "Name one movie better than The Dark Knight." And guess what I said?!?!?!?!? NEMO! And he just laughed!!!! It's true! That's my favorite movie! So I want you guys to comment and vote which movie is better. I know that The Dark Knight will probably win, but that doesn't mean that I'll like it. So, GO VOTE!

Music Camp

I leave on Monday for music camp!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! But you practice, like, ALL day. Oh well. I stay there for a week! I'll miss you all!!!!! Well, most of you. So if you think you're having a bad day, stop and think, "Is this better than playing the violin for 5 hours? Heck, I don't even PLAY!" Yeah. That's what you should think.

Batting

I'm going to this batting practice at my coach's house, because I can't hit the ball. I can't! I'm horrible! Anyways, I'm trying to get Tori to come, but she won't answer her phone. Oh well! And did I tell you we lost our first softball game? I didn't? Well, we did. Boo hoo.

After the Dentist

I sent this one e-mail called Dr. Seuss. You had to make a wish, then send it to at least 10 people. Well, I did. My wish came true! My wish was that I would have no cavaties, and I didn't have any! Yay! But I do have to get sealents on my teeth. And my last two baby teeth are loose!

Dentist

I have to go to the dentist today, and I'm soooooo scared! I DON'T LIKE THE DENTIST! I'm scared of getting a cavity! WISH ME LUCK!

Violin Lessons

I have to go to my violin lesson today. I kinda don't want to, because I didn't practice that much. But, music camp is coming up and I REALLY need to, so..........Yeah. One hour of playing.

Library

I was working at the library yesterday and it got REALLY boring. I work all Mondays from 9-4. So if you could come visit me, that would be GREAT!!!!! I take breaks from 10:30-10:45, 12-1, and 2:30 t0 2:45. I need socialization!

Lake

Now I have nothing to do now that school's out. And all of my lamo friends are abondoning me. And my friends who spent the night last night left lots of stuff at my house. Bored!

So, like I said, today was the last day of school. And Ms. Perettis was SO mean, like usually, but today she was EXTRA mean. She wouldn't let us stand in the halls to wait for friends who you were going home with! She said, "You'll find them eventually." And then she wouldn't let my friends go back to the office to get their bags. "That's not how it works!" And then she sat down Tori and yelled at her. Tori says, "That was not the first time she did that to me, but, ya know! I don't think she really likes me." And for the TWO hours of school we had, we watched a movie. And as I am writing this, Tori is putting her foot on my head. And so is Eileen. AAAAAHHHHHH! I don't wanT a hug Tori! And she would not let us sit by our friends and talk during the movie. And like I said, MS. PERETTI IS MEAN! Do you suck? DEFINETLY!

Last Day of School

Today is the last day of school. And here I am, sitting here with my lamo friends (including me). Tori says she's awesome, and Eileen says, Yeah, I'm pretty lame. I think I'm lame too. ANYways, I cried a little! Soooo yeah. That's how my last day of school was. Pretty lame, right?

I just saw Up! It was AMAZING! And the old guy (Mr. Frederickson, the one who goes up in the balloon, hence Up) had a square face! I'm recommending it to all you computer geeks out there. And watch the credits. There's also an awesome short at the beginning. But I'm warning you, BRING KLEENEXS! I cried! And it's also kinda scary in the middle. So go, shoo! Go see UP!

Why do I play violin?

Someone once asked me why I play violin. While I play the violin I cannot judge. I cannot hate, I cannot separate myself from life......... I can only be joyful and whole. That is why I play the violin.

Trivia

I'm so happy! Today, at school, there was trivia, and guess who got fifth place! ME! And so I got a prize bag with candy! I'm just so happy. *sigh*

Tongues of Fire

So I went to church today and my pastor gave a sermon that I had to think about. Today is the pentecost. That was a time when there were tons of people from all over the world who came together to trade. They all spoke different languages. Then, all of a sudden, God sent tongues of fire from the sky so that all the people could talk in the same exact language in the same exact way. I was thinkng, How much easier would it be to go to different countries if all the people spoke the same language? Pretty awesome! But think about it. Wouldn't the world be boring?

Ice Skating

How long has it been since YOU went ive skating? For me it's been FOREVER! But I just went. And I only fell once! And it was because someone made me! Anyways it was so much fun! And NO ONE was there! You should go ice skating!

Softball.......and Stupid Rain
